SHANGHAI, China - At least ten people have been confirmed dead after the collapse of a factory wall in Shanghai on Thursday.
The incident, which has been described as an accident, was reported by the Chinese state news agency, Xinhua.
According to the Xinhua report, as of 1:45am Friday, twenty-five people who were trapped have been rescued, 10 of whom died of their injuries, according to the municipal bureau of emergency management.
The wall fell at 11:20am Thursday on Zhaohua Road in Shanghai's Changning District, as the factory building was being demolished.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
