NAGA CITY, Jan. 22 (PIA) - One of the agencies hardly hit by the COVID-19 pandemic is the Department of Education (DepEd). Yet, despite the challenges of nurturing every learner in a safe and motivating environment in the midst of the pandemic as part of their mandate, Dep Ed Naga City Division was still able to successfully push through with their programs.
During the 2020 Brigada Eskwela Program Implementation Review, Recognition of Best Implementing Schools, Stakeholders' Convergence and Appreciation Night, held Jan. 15, Friday at the Avenue Plaza Hotel, here, accolades were bestowed to deserving schools and educators who exerted extra effort to ensure that the delivery of the basic quality education was not hampered by the current pandemic.
With the theme "Building Partnership and Appreciating Stakeholders' Participation in the Learning Delivery Modalities Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic," no less than the second highest official of the country, Vice President Maria Leonor Gerona Robredo as the event's Guest of Honor, virtually commended the awardees for the job well done.

We see this, not only in tonight's special awardees, not only when we do our annual Brigada Eskwela but in each person who are present here today, doing their very best to ensure that no student is left behind," Robredo stated.
