Arkansas landed a commitment Friday from high-scoring South Dakota transfer Stanley Umude.
The 6-foot-6 wing posted an image of himself in a Razorbacks uniform on Twitter with the heading: "COMMITTED."
Umude averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 25 games (all starts) for the Coyotes in 2020-21. He made the All-Summit League first team.
Over four seasons at South Dakota, the San Antonio native averaged 15.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 101 games (75 starts). He shot 46.9 percent from the field and 34.2 percent from 3-point distance.
He joins an Arkansas program fresh off a run to the Elite Eight at the 2021 NCAA Tournament. The Razorbacks finished 25-7 in their second season under coach Eric Musselman.
Miami guard Chris Lykes and Pitt guard Au'Diese Toney previously announced they were transferring to Arkansas.
